Every Friday over at Kim Klassen people post Friday Finds, people post unique treasures, special moments, life lessons, little things, big things too, nature’s beauty, heart shaped stones, a special cup, a pretty flower, wise words, basically the possibilities are endless. This week Kim posted photos of peonies which inspired me to dig out my peony pictures.
There is a place called the Dragonfly Peony Farm in West Point, CA. about two hours from where I live, I haven’t made it there recently but went two years ago and took some pictures. Not only can you enjoy all the beautiful flowers blooming but you can also purchase plants. Enjoy.
Hydrangeas – Friday Finds
When cleaning the garage I found these dried hydrangeas that I picked from my cousins yard over a year ago. They’ve been out in the garage in a plastic bag all this time. I’m surprised they were in the condition they were, not falling apart very much at all. They were dried on the plant, not cut and then dried, I wonder if that makes a difference in condition.

TEXTURE TUESDAY – CAMELLIA
I used my cousins camera to take this picture on Christmas day in her front yard. I textured with Kim Klassens texture called Cherish at soft light 50%.
