A couple of weeks ago I went down to Modesto, CA. to check out a little pop up antique shop that opens a few times a year. It was so pretty down there with all the trees blooming. I don’t know what kind of trees they are. There was a Blue Diamond Almond plant nearby so maybe they were almond trees. It was funny, they were all topped so I took the photos from a low angle so the flat tops wouldn’t show. The first picture of the grove was processed using tintii to make it black and white and bring in only the pink. Then I used two layers of Kim Klassen texture 2710.
Here are some of the blooms. See the bee.
I love your first image so painterly x
ReplyDeleteYes, the first picture is magical! Wow...
ReplyDeleteThe canopy of trees with pink blossoms looks like the path to spring. So very inviting.
ReplyDeleteOne can't get enough of blossom. Beautiful texturing, looks like a painted canvas and I love it!
ReplyDeleteModesto is a large almond growing area, so I think you are right in that they are almond blossoms. Beautiful photos.
