Fire, Fire, Everywhere

Seems like the whole state is burning up.  These pictures are the sky in Northern California the other night.  The American Fire near Foresthill and the Rim Fire near Yosemite are causing a lot of smoke even over 100 miles away.  At least I’m not in the path that the wind is blowing the smoke but it’s bad enough.  Sure makes for a pretty sunset though.  That’s the moon up there.  Kudos to all the fire fighters who have been working tirelessly for weeks.
The first picture is textured with the Kim Klassen texture called “look up” at multiply 63%.  Thought the name was appropriate.

The second picture with with no texture.

  1. These fires are always so scary. Hoping the fire fighters have it under control and that no-one gets hurt.
